To adopt from us you must be 21 years old, provide landlord information if you rent and submit a completed application in person when you come to the shelter.
There are many ways BIG and small to 'help us help them'. See the Help Us page for information on shelter needs and volunteer opportunities.
We currently need:
Dish detergent, laundry detergent, and toilet paper, if anyone is willing to donate some! Stop by the shelter to drop it off any day between 1 and 4. You can also order items in bulk quantities from our amazon wishlist on the Help Us page.
Come Visit Us!
The Humane Society is located right off the Fair Oaks Exit 118 on NY Route 17. Coming on Rt 17 West, take exit 118, make a left, go over the overpass, make a left, and we re about 1/4 miles on the right hand side . Coming on 17 East, turn left off of exit 118, and we re about a half a mile on the right hand side.
