“Strut Your Pup” Walk on September 23, 2018

Dress Your Pup Up!  Prize for Best Costume!Lector and Chessie

Please join us for Middletown Humane Society’s Inaugural “Strut Your Pup” Walk at Fancher Davidge Park in Middletown on Sunday, September 23, 2018.  Registration is from 8 am to 9:30 am.  The walk begins at 10 am.  Adults are $25 and children under 12 are free.  The event will take place rain or shine, so dress for the weather!  Please pick-up registration forms and waivers at the shelter OR click here to download the Strut Your Pup Registration Form and Waiver.

Rabies vaccines: $15.00 for DOGS and CATS, administered by local veterinarians volunteering their time to our cause. Check the dates (listed above) to see what vet will be volunteering for each clinic! To obtain a 3 year rabies vaccine, written proof of a current Rabies vaccine must be shown. (Tags do not count!)
Distemper vaccines: $15.00 for DOGS and CATS (no previous documentation needed)

All dogs must be leashed and cats must be in secure carriers.

Payment must be in CASH or CREDIT CARD only.

If anyone is willing to donate baked goods for the bake sale, please call the shelter and leave your name and phone number so one of our Board members can contact you. Thank you!

The shelter would like to thank all who volunteer to lend their expertise in order to help out at our community event. This low-cost service allows many of our neighbors to provide basic health care for their pets.

Adopt to help Save Them All with $10 cat adoptions all month long at the Middletown Humane Society, in partnership with Best Friends Animal Society. Come in and visit our cats and other lovable pets, and take a look at them here.

We are joining the national animal welfare organization Best Friends Animal Society, along with animal rescue groups and shelters across the country during the month of June.

The Middletown Humane Society along with the Humane Society of Port Jervis and Deerpark are joining together for our 3 Annual Wine Cause for Paws. The cost is $25 per person and includes wine tasting, snacks and music. It is sure to be an enjoyable afternoon with wine, food and friends. Please join us and help us to help all of our animals.

This is a great time of year to find a new best friend.  What better friend is there then a grateful pet who will appreciate the new Life and family you give them.  For only $25, you can bring home a new cat to add to your family.  Come in to find your new addition to your family.


$25 Adoption fee for the Month of June

All adult cats that have been in our shelter for more than 90 days have a discounted adoption fee of $25. Potential adopters must have an approved application to qualify. This applies to any cat that has been at the shelter for 3 months or longer.
